Dr. Varun Mitroo completed his undergraduate studies at Johns Hopkins University, graduating in 1990 with a bachelor of science in molecular biology. In 1994, he received his doctorate from Ohio State University, graduating Magna Cum Laude.
Dr. Mitroo completed his intership at Roger Williams Hospital, Brown University in Providence, Rhode Island, in 1995. From 1995 - 1997, Dr. Mitroo completing three consectuive diagnostic radiology residencies at Ohio State University Hospital, Beth Israel Medical Center and St. Barnabas Medical Center. He continued his medical career at Columbia Presbyterian Hospital in New York City, completing a neuroradiology fellowship in 2000.
Dr. Mitroo has nearly 20 years of radiology experience. He joined Desert Radiology in 2018 as a teleradiologist.
