Dr. Marbella completed his under graduate studies in 2007 at the University of California, Los Angeles. He graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Microbiology, Immunology and Molecular Genetics. In 2013, he received his Medical Degree from the Northeast Ohio Medical University.
In 2014, Dr. Marbella completed an internal medicine internship at the University of Nevada School of Medicine in Reno, Nevada. During his tenure at the University, he was appointed to the Resident Teaching Honor Roll. Dr. Marbella completed his diagnostic radiology residency in 2018 at Loyola University Medical Center. He was presented the Magis Star Award in 2015 for providing excellence in patient care and experience. Dr. Marbella continued his medical career at the University of Arizona Health Sciences, concluding his Musculoskeletal Imaging fellowship in 2019.
Dr. Marbella led numerous lectures and conducted several presentations throughout his medical training. Additionally, he has participated in poster presentations at both national and regional radiological society meetings. Prior to joining Desert Radiology, Dr. Marbella provided coverage for adverse contrast reactions at several leading MRI centers throughout Illinois. Dr. Marbella joined Desert Radiology in 2019.
