In 2002, Dr. Bomsztyk graduated from the University of Wisconsin with a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Engineering. He obtained his Medical Degree with honors from Cornell Medical College in 2008. Dr. Bomsztyk completed his internship at New York Hospital Queens in 2009. He continued his medical training at the University of Washington, completing a diagnostic radiology residency in 2013, followed by an interventional radiology fellowship in 2014.
Dr. Bomsztyk has participated in many research projects and co-authored numerous publications. He developed a medical device to aid in ultrasound-guided tissue biopsy while attending Cornell Medical College. Additionally, during his tenure at The University of Wisconsin, Dr. Bomsztyk designed and patented a tongue exerciser to treat and quantify swallowing disorders. In 2012, Dr. Bomsztyk spent one month in East Africa as a Global Health Volunteer, teaching radiology to physicians in Kenya. Dr. Bomsztyk joined Desert Radiology in 2014.
