Dr. Allen graduated from Hampton University in 1997 with a Bachelor of Science in Biology with an emphasis in Pre-Med. In 2001, he obtained his Medical Degree at Meharry Medical College, School of Medicine in Nashville, Tennesee. After receiving his Medical Degree, Dr. Allen completed an internal medicine internship at Meharry Medical College. He continued his medical career at King-Drew Medical Center, School of Medicine, completing his diagnostic radiology residency in 2004. From 2004 to 2006, he was Chief Radiology Resident at Maricopa Medical Center. Dr. Allen completed his neuroradiology fellowship at the University of New Mexico in 2007.
In 2008, Dr. Allen began working at Picture Perfect Radiology. In 2010, he became the Radiology Chairman at King-Drew Medical Center in LA County. Dr. Allen joined Desert Radiology in 2015 as a teleradiologist.
