Dr. Ralph T. Ho received his bachelor’s degree from Cornell University in Ithaca, New York, in 1990. He earned his doctorate from Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine in Chicago, Illinois, in 1995. Dr. Ho attended radiology residency at Detroit Medical Center at Wayne State University from 1996 to 2000. He completed an internship at Detroit Medical Center a year before from 1995 to 1996. Dr. Ho completed a fellowship in vascular and interventional radiology at University of Tennessee Health Science Center in 2002-2003 and a fellowship at University of Washington – Harborview Medical Center on emergency and CT imaging from 2000 to 2001. He held the role of assistant professor of trauma and emergency radiology at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center for seven years. Dr. Ho is board certified in diagnostic radiology by American Board of Radiology and has a certificate of added qualifications in vascular and interventional radiology. He is licensed in California, Nevada, Arizona, Washington, Florida and Georgia. He has co-authored medical publications on chest radiographs, CT diagnosis, and mediastinum.
Dr. Ho has worked in teleradiology and interventional radiology for numerous medical facilities during his career. Prior to joining Desert Radiology, he held the role as president of Imaging and Therapeutic Solutions, PC. He was the medical director of interventional radiology at Desert Regional Medical Center in Palm Springs, California, for several years. He held the position of medical director of interventional radiology at Carson Tahoe Regional Medical Center in Carson City, Nevada, from 2008 to 2010. At Mid-South Imaging and Therapeutics in Memphis, Tennessee, he was a staff radiologist for three years and from 2004-2006, he was the vascular and interventional fellowship director. He has also worked with the following companies and hospitals: Quantum Medical Radiology, Desert Regional Hospital, Fountain Valley Regional Hospital, Radisphere National Radiology Group, Mercy Hospital of Bakersfield, Radnet, Inc., Radia, University of Arizona Health Science Center, Memorial University Medical Center, John D. Archbold Memorial Hospital, Chandler Radiology Associates and Carson Tahoe Hospital.
Dr. Ho joined Desert Radiology as a teleradiologist in 2018.
