Dr. Johnson graduated from the University of Oregon in 1999 with a Bachelor of Arts in Biochemistry.  Following, he concluded a Masters of Science in Chemistry in 2003.  From 2002 – 2007, Dr. Johnson worked for the multi-national technology company, Intel Corporation as a Process Engineer.

In 2009 Dr. Johnson continued his medical career, receiving his Medical Degree from the University of Utah School of Medicine in 2013.  During his tenure at the University of Utah, Dr. Johnson served as a member of the university’s Interview Committee and Co-President of the Surgery Interest Group.  

In 2014, Dr. Johnson concluded an internal medicine residency at St. Vincent’s Medical Center.  He completed his diagnostic radiology residency at the University of Vermont Medical Center in 2018.  Subsequently, concluding an interventional radiology fellowship in 2019. Dr. Johnson has served as Advocacy Chair and Treasurer, for the Vermont Radiological Society Resident and Fellow division.  Throughout his medical career, Dr. Johnson has concluded several teaching lectures, contributed to various scholarly publications, participated in numerous clinical research studies and presented at national radiological meetings.

Dr. Johnson joined Desert Radiology in 2019.
