Ms. Fischer graduated from the University of Florida in 2014 with a Bachelor of Science in Preprofessional Biology. In 2019, she obtained her Master of Medical Sciences, Physician Assistant Studies from Nova Southeastern University. Ms. Fischer has completed clinical rotations in various disciplines of medicine including Interventional Cardiology, Surgical Oncology, General and Plastic Surgery, Psychiatry, Internal Medicine, Obstetrics & Gynecology, Emergency Medicine, Family Medicine and Pediatrics.
During her medical training through her numerous clinical rotations, Ms. Fischer assisted with complex interventional and cardiac procedures, including but not limited to port placements, AV fistula, cardiac catherization, peripheral angioplasty, carotid angiography and thoracentesis procedures. Ms. Fischer has also participated in medical service to trips to both Panama and Ecuador during her educational training.
Ms. Fischer has previously worked as a medical assistant for Center of Dermatology in Coral Springs, Florida. In this position, she was responsible for patient exam prep, performing numbing injections and assisting with performing additional minimally invasive procedures. Additionally, in this role, Ms. Fischer was also responsible for preparing and reviewing treatment plans with patients. Ms. Fischer joined Desert Radiology in 2020
