Since 1966, Desert Radiology has been headquartered in the heart of what is the Las Vegas Medical District. In fact, Desert Radiology has not just called Las Vegas home for half a century, the practice has also dedicated itself to helping the local community thrive.
Desert Radiology does this by partnering with several local and national charities, in addition to nonprofit organizations, to make a lasting impact, The Clark County Medical Society Alliance, American Lung Association and City Impact Center are just a few of these organizations with which Desert Radiology has partnered this year.
This spring, Desert Radiology answered City Impact Center's call for donations to the Las Vegas Diaper Bank with a staggering contribution. The diaper bank's goal was to receive 30,000 diapers by April 1. Desert Radiology's physicians and 400 employees combined to contribute 31,000 diapers. An estimated 620 local babies and toddlers will benefit from this donation.
A spirit of community partnership, volunteerism and philanthropy extend throughout Desert Radiology. From the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure to Opportunity Village, Volunteers in Medicine of Southern Nevada's ninth annual ball this coming November and more, Desert Radiology takes pride in serving as a sponsor or source of volunteers and participants.
