Executive Vice President / CEO
Mr. Bodager joined Desert Radiology in 2016 bringing over 20 years of senior level management experience from his roles as chief executive and chief financial officer for large medical practices, as well as from his involvement on several for-profit and not-for-profit boards. As Executive Vice President, Mr. Bodager provides hands-on management of daily operations as well as oversees the company’s strategic development and long-term institutional goals. Mr. Bodager works closely with the senior management team and directs internal functions for the achievement of corporate objectives. Mr. Bodager received his Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from West Virginia State University and his Master’s degree in business administration from Southern Oregon University. He is a certified public accountant licensed in the State of Oregon, a Fellow in the American College of Medical Practice Executives and a Certified Medical Practice Executive. In 2012, Mr. Bodager received the national award for being the Medical Practice Executive of the Year from Medical Group Management Association.
Senior Vice President, Operations / COO
Mr. Grimes joined Desert Radiology in 2016. As Senior Vice President of Opertions, Mr. Grimes is responsible for directing, administering and coordinating all clinical and patient relations functions of the organization in accordance with policies, goals and objectives established by the corporation’s executive committee. Additionally, Mr. Grimes assists in developing strategic short and long range plans for operational, personnel, and financial performance and growth. Mr. Grime’s previous healthcare management experience encompasses imaging services, cardiology, oncology, podiatry, hospice and endocrinology. With more than 16 years of healthcare leadership, he has provided senior level leadership in all aspects of hospital operations, financial management, business development, quality of care and strategic initiatives. Before joining Desert Radiology, Mr. Grimes was employed by DaVita HealthCare Partners Medical Group of Nevada. As Associate Vice President of Specialty Services, he provided leadership and operational direction for employees across all ancillary and support services departments. Mr. Grimes holds a Master of Business Administration from University of Phoenix and a Bachelor of Science in Radiology Administration from the University of Nevada.
Vice President, Human Resources
Mrs. Hazelitt joined Desert Radiology in 2017, bringing with her over 20 years of human resources expertise specifically focused around the areas of organizational design and development, talent, leadership development and employee engagement. As Vice President of Human Resources, Mrs. Hazelitt is responsible for directing corporate HR functions including talent acquisition, training and development, performance management, employee branding and relations. Additionally, she is responsible for developing and implementing strategies to improve culture and team engagement. Prior to joining Desert Radiology, Mrs. Hazelitt’s was Vice President of Human Resources at Aristocrat Technologies, Inc. During her career, Mrs. Hazelitt was responsible for leading HR initiatives for multi-site global organizations. In addition, Mrs. Hazelitt developed defined benchmarked competitive compensation packages that reduced overall turnover to 4% and improved talent retention to a rate of 8%. Additionally she implemented a talent acquisition strategy resulting in over $1M in savings. Mrs. Hazelitt holds a master’s degree in Human Resource Management from Golden Gate University in San Francisco, CA. She also holds a bachelor’s degree in Sociology from the University of California, Davis.
Senior Director of Finance
Mr. May joined Desert Radiology in 2020, bringing over 10 years' successful finance leadership experience in the healthcare industry. Prior to joining Desert Radiology, he served in various roles from Director to CFO within an acute care hospital setting, ranging from local to national systems. The organizations ranged from $100 million of net revenue to $3.6 billion in net revenue. Mr. May possess an extensive background in acquisitions, financial reporting, operating and capital budgeting, including modeling and analysis. Mr. May holds a Masters and Bachelors of Accountancy, both from Ball State of University in Indiana. He is a Certified Public Accountant (inactive) and is involved with various healthcare professional organizations.
