Ashok Gupta, MD Joins Desert Radiologists

ASHOK GUPTA, M.D. JOINS THE PHYSICIAN TEAM AT DESERT RADIOLOGISTS

LAS VEGAS, NEVADA – Desert Radiologists, Nevada’s largest and most trusted medical imaging company today announced that Ashok Kumar Gupta, M.D. has joined the team of physicians at Desert Radiologists.

Dr. Gupta graduated from the University of Nebraska in 1992 with a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry and a Bachelor of Science in Medicine in 1994. In 1996, he received his Medical Degree with high distinction from the University of Nebraska Medical Center, subsequently completing an Internal Medicine internship in 1997 and a residency in diagnostic radiology in 2001 from the University of Michigan. He continued his medical career at Duke University Medical Center, completing a fellowship in abdominal imaging in 2002.

Prior to joining Desert Radiologists in 2006, Dr. Gupta was a partner at Valley Radiologists in Arizona, where he also served as Director of Hospital MDCT/CTA. He has also served as a manuscript reviewer for both the American Journal of Roentgenology and European Radiology.

Dr. Gupta is board certified by the American Board of Radiology and a member of the American College of Radiology, American Roentgen Ray Society, Radiological Society of North America and Clark County Medical Society.
